The 8th AGOA Trade Forum Nairobi, Kenya
Starting
August 4th to August 6th 2009, Nairobi will be hosting the 8th Agoa
conference at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC). AGOA
(the African Growth and Opportunity Act) is an initiative by the US
government to stimulate economic growth in Africa by offering duty-free
access to the U.S.A market for selected products from 39 African
countries. The previous (7th) Agoa trade forum was held in Washington
DC in July 2008.
