Kenya hosted the 5th MIM Pan-African Malaria Conference from 2-6 November 2009 in Nairobi. The conference brought together malaria researchers and other experts from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America and the Caribbean countries. The 5th PAMC was hosted by the Kenyan Medical Research Institute (KEMRI).
