a safari package covering Kenya & Tanzania in 2004. After his
return to the US this is what he had to say...
" Yes. It was better than I ever could have imagined! Truly
a dream come true for me and my family. We saw everything! Lions,
Cheetahs, Elephants, Rhino, Giraffe, Hyenas, Buffalo, Impala, Gazelle,
Wildebeest, Zebra, Baboons, Monkeys, Crocodiles, Hippos, Jackals
huge Eagles, giant Buzzards, Flamingos and AFRICA! I don't have
the words to describe how good I felt about the game drives. GREAT
JOB TO EVERYONE AT AFRICA POINT! "
Eric decided to use Africa Point again to organise for him a trip
to Egypt for 6 days. After sending him our proposed itinerary this
is what he had to say..
"Wow! You’ve done it again! This is an awesome Package!
Your organization does a great job making it possible and affordable
for people on a low budget to travel. You did a great job on the
African Safari Vacation to Kenya and Tanzania for my family last
year...."

Client: Fresh Fire Ministries (Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada)
Services: Group Accommodation, Ground and Air Transport and Safari
Fresh Fire Ministries is a Pentecostal group involved in Christian
Evangelism in North America, Africa and elsewhere. For their Crusade
in Mwanza, Tanzania in May 2002 they chose us to provide ground
and regional flight services and logistics.
The international flight for this 36 persons (US & Canadians)
group was terminating in Nairobi and the arrangements were therefore
for both Kenya and Tanzania.
After thorough shopping and correspondence with some of our past
clients the organizers decided to retain us to handle the aforementioned
logistics.
The value added services we offered were:
- Scheduled Kenya-Tanzania flights for advance party
- Accommodation in Kenya and Tanzania
- Charter return flight Nairobi- Mwanza for the group (we recommend
this cheaper option although the client had requested a scheduled
flight)
- 2 day post-mission safari in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
The client was very satisfied with the arrangements and has requested
us to indicated willingness to retain us for upcoming missions.
John MacGirvin, the organizer wrote the following to one of our
prospective clients from Canada:
"My experience was good as any service that I've received
any where in the USA. Not only were they helpful before and during,
but they went out of their way to also be helpful afterwards.
I'm using them again for an upcoming trip in November and will
look forward to using them for years to come."

Client: ACORD (London, UK)
Service: International Conference (80 Delegates)
ACORD (Agency for Cooperation and Research in Development) is a
UK based NGO that is a research consortium with programs in many
African countries.
For their annual 11-day review meeting held in Kenya in May 2002,
from an initial long list they chose our company to handle all logistics
and venue location and reservation. 80 delegates traveled from all
over Africa and UK.
We helped ACORD pick an excellent venue from their initial outline
specification of a "place with beautiful surroundings, not
more than 150 Km from Nairobi".
This NGO has a small office in Nairobi but chose to deal direct
with us instead of burdening the local office with additional duties
in which they are not specialized.
The value added services we offered were:
- Accommodation and conference venue at specially negotiated
rates
- Audio-visual and simultaneous translation equipment, including
technician
- 2 English-French translators
- 1 English-Portuguese translator
- Transport logistics for small groups and individuals
- A dedicated Help Desk throughout the conference -assisting delegates
with weekend tours, flight confirmations etc.

Managing Water for African Cities-
Nairobi Project (Nairobi, Kenya)
This project is supported by UN-Habitat. The project preparation
group approached us to arrange a conference in Mombasa (Kenya) where
they could hold consultations and finalize on an action plan. In
addition they also required admin and logistics support. The conference
dates were in July 2002. The group size was 36. The instruction
to proceed was given at very short notice with the high season for
Mombasa approaching and therefore very difficult to get a group
booking confirmed. But we were able to confirm the booking for the
group and also get specially negotiated low season rates!
The value added services we offered were:
- Accommodation and conference venue at specially negotiated
rates
- Audio-visual equipment, stationary etc
- Transport logistics for Nairobi –Mombasa return
- Handling payments to moderators, participants etc.
- Helping plan cocktail party, recreation etc
- A dedicated Help Desk throughout the conference
After the end of the conference, the Project Manager commented:
“I wish to thank you for arranging a very successful conference.
The choice of hotel and transport arrangements met our requirements
and expectations. As a result were able to accomplish the task we
had set for ourselves. My only regret is that our schedule did not
allow us to relax more at the beach!”
