Day 1: NAIROBI - NANYUKI
0800 hrs - From Nairobi, take a 2.5-hour drive to the Sweetwaters Tented Camp
at Nanyuki. This is a top end permanent tented camp. After lunch, enjoy activities
and game viewing in the area.
The Sweetwaters Tented Camp lies in the heart of the privately owned 22,000-acre
Sweetwaters Game Reserve. It enjoys magnificent views across the game-studded
plains to the snowcapped peaks of Mount Kenya. In the area, there is a rhino
sanctuary and a 200-acre chimpanzee sanctuary. You may enjoy a 30-minute boat
ride on the Uaso Nyiro River among the chimps. At the sanctuary, chimps are
rehabilitated and taught to fend for themselves in an area similar to their
natural living conditions. While in the area you can visit with the chimps,
rhinos and see other game.
Overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp
Day 2: NANYUKI- LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill
Lodge. At 1530 hrs proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National
Park.
Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400
species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of
the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular.
From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a
reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild
Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons
are all residents here.

Day 3: LAKE NAKURU- MAASAI MARA
0800 hrs- Drive via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for
lunch at Mara Sarova Camp. 1530 hrs- go for an afternoon game drive till dusk.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult
to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily
see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo,
warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes
and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the
natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest
and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following
on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal,
hyena and vultures.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 4: MAASAI MARA
0630 hrs - early morning game drive in the Mara. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
You spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch at the lodge you proceed
at 1500 hrs for an afternoon game drive till dusk.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 5: MAASAI MARA- NAIROB- KAMPALA
0630 hrs- Take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot Air Balloon provided
at extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild!
If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable
experience.
After breakfast return to Nairobi arriving around 1300 hrs. You will have lunch
at Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi, which is world famous for its succulent
game meats. In the evening, transfer to the airport for a flight to Kampala
Uganda.

Day 6: KAMPALA- QUEEN ELIZABETH
After breakfast, head west through magnificent hill county and lush cultivation.
You pass through the market town of Masaka after stopping at the equator for
photographs. Stop for lunch is at Mbarara. Enjoy a game drive as you enter the
famous Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The Queen Elizabeth National Park is a UNESCO designated a Biosphere Reserve
for Humanity. The park is constituted of tropical forest, green meadows, savannah
and swamps. In terms of wildlife, you find elephant, buffalo, hippos, baboons,
chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds. The park occupies 2000 sq km and
is situated 440 km from Kampala.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge
Day 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH
A guided walk takes you into the tropical Kyambura Gorge in search of chimpanzees.
This hike involves climbing. In this unspoiled environment, birds and butterflies
are all around, and you might also see primates. After lunch, take the launch
trip up Kizinga Channel, which separates Lakes Edward and George, viewing a
variety of game on the banks.

Day 8: KIBALE FOREST
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kibale National Park.
Kibale is a primate searchers dream. There are over 1,000 chimpanzees, and
at least 6 monkey species - including the acrobatic red colobus and black-and-white
colobus, and the handsome L'Hoest's monkey. At Kibale, you will take a guided
walk in search of chimpanzees.

Day 9: KIBALE FOREST -KAMPALA- NAIROBI
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kampala. After lunch in Kampala, you
will be at leisure to shop for souvenirs and tour the city, before transferring
to the airport for your evening flight back to Nairobi.
